Slave to the Printer

My printer broke last week so bought a new one. Right as I was getting ready to print my friend's wedding invitations. Super. Well I got it working (right after I ordered a new one) and now I'm sitting here feeding piece after piece of paper through. We are not friends.

I think they turned out cute!

Oh, and I want this: found at Mahar Dry Goods where you can find a whole slew of cuteness.

For YOU Alli

(Hi sister!) I've been a bad blogger. Bad! You know when you feel bad that you haven't done something in a while - and feel like if you start up again you will just look stupid? Well that's what's been preventing me from adding to my blog. So forgive me. But I am back in manic crafter mode. Projects: 3 custom wedding invitations, a new line of cards for Real Estate agents, and some activity on ETSY! And because a) my own photography sucks and b) I don't have any pictures on this computer: Here's something I added to my favorites on ETSY this morning. How cute!

Bad Girl!

I've been a bad girl. No posting in a long time. I've been busy okay! Lots of crafting, thrifting, getting my ETSY store up and running and not to mention a sick baby! Here are some of the things I've been working on:

I also watched Ratatouille this weekend. So cute - but my favorite part of all was the ending credits. The illustrations are so frigging cute! It looks like pages from a vintage childrens book - and so many cute little "kitcheny" illustrations. Perfect for the new line of stamps I want to create - all kitchen items! And how CUTE is the featured seller on ETSY today? OMG My favorite is this.
Next post challenge: try not to use the word cute.

Agenda

Here's what my day looked like:

On the agenda: Make magnets, sew, new christmas card designs, new labels, and make a baby gift for the babyshower I have this weekend. What did I get done? Half of the magnets. Sigh. And the little man even took a 2 1/2 hour nap. What the heck took so long?

One more halloween pic from yesterday! He must've been tuckered out from all his trick-or-treating.

Goblins & Ghouls & Cows?

We've been celebrating halloween around here. Two Peps parties on one day! Our St. Ben's peeps featured a chicken, monkey, ladybug, pumpkin, & a corn cob! So cute! Then there was our original Peps group: honey pot, bee, monkey, chicken, bear, and cow:

I'm Not Worthy!

I'm having blogger-block. I spend hours reading other blogs and think "I can never be that funny or that cute." But then I read posts written by my favorite bloggers - having the same insecurities... so maybe I just shut up and write.

How do I get to the point of wee wonderfuls where bloupies (my new word for blogger groupies) wait impatiently for her next item to be put up for sale only to sell out in minutes? Or angry chicken who writes books and gets published in Country Living? I admire you, I love you, I want to BE you. And what's coolest of all - I know you're just regular fun-loving-artsy moms like me.
I just finished watching my new favorite show - Pushing Daisies. Tom makes fun because I can't watch Heroes (too scary) but this show about a guy who can bring back the dead for one minute turns out to be my favorite. It's so colorful, artisitic, and cute! I love Olive - the pie hole - and the crazy aunt's bejeweled eye patch. Wednesdays at 8 - watch it so it doesn't go off the air!

Tomorrow is Thursday - glorious Thursday. My day off that always goes too fast, not enough checks on my to-do-list but who cares! I get to sleep in with my main man, do house-wifely things, and craft!
